RE: Official KICKSTARTER update page
I'd perhaps be interested in helping out with the software development. Not sure how much help I'd be. I haven't done much Verilog (and absolutely no VHDL at all) or embedded stuff.
What languages are you doing stuff in? Would love to see those pictures of the built MV3's if possible. Would you have enough now to at least get the Kickstarter launched? |

RE: Official KICKSTARTER update page
I'm sorry to hassle you guys again, but could we get a progress update??
I've also been looking around and have been unable to find the working area specifications of the MV3. Best I've been able to glean is the cutting area is around 9" by 12" (or possibly 9" by 9"). What is the depth available for 3D printing/milling?? Are there any plans for larger machines?? I was also taking a look at some other CNC machine kits available, Unfortunately one that I was looking at (from a certain "German made" Kickstarter "staff pick", sorry I don't know if you want me naming other machines on here) had curtain rods as linear bearings. I'd be afraid that those bearings would wear out after a week or two. Thanks |
